Welcome to the first strip of The Crimson Scarab! I know – I’m about an hour and a half late in posting today. My apologies. I really have to figure out a faster way to get the strips prepped for these postings. There will be many, many stumbling steps as I figure out… well, everything. But, for now, I just want to say thanks to all of you who are checking this out, and (hopefully) I’ll be posting each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Right now, I have an entire weekend to try to work out the bugs! See you Monday!

Captain Scotland – Yeah, the name may be a little bit of an homage to the Blue Beetle, but stick around long enough and I’m sure you’ll see I’ve ripped off nearly EVERY comic book hero! Thanks for the good words!

A very nice start! I’m looking forward to hearing more about this character…and also being able to see the entire strip on the main page, lol. Gotta either change the widths in the theme or pick a wider theme. That was a common problem I saw with a lot of themes. You’ll figure it out eventually, and I’ll be following along to see it!

OG – Aw, shucks, ’tweren’t nuthin!. Thanks for the awesome support and encouragement. You do realize, though, with all my work here, that my posting on The Steve Austin Book Club blog is going to be lighter (if that’s even possible) than it has been? So start posting some of your brilliance there more often!
