Happy Wednesday, everyone!  I went and did something kinda crazy a couple of days ago.  I bought a Batman cowl.  That’s right – me in my 30’s, I went and bought a cowl.  Not some cheap horrible little thing, but a really nice latex cowl done in the style of the Michael Keaton Bat-suits.  I’ve wanted a cowl forever.  Why?  Well, I could say, “I don’t know, just have,” but let’s face it – most boys dream of being Batman at some point, and I’m no different.  The cowl is huge – which means it actually fits this giant gourd atop my shoulders.  The neck is a little loose, but I’m working on that.  Soon, I will be able to dress up as The Batman… a horribly fat and out of shape Batman, but Batman nonetheless.  I’ve already got my eye on a cape, and I’m sure I can find some gray spandex!  (Ooh, there is a terrifying thought – me in spandex!)

Anyway, you might have noticed I’ve also played around with The Crimson Scarab logo a bit.  Let me know what you think about it!  Alright, I’ll see you on Friday!

  1. Peter David has an actual Batcave built into his house. Complete with poles that allow you to slide down into it, and they are hidden by a bookcase that moves when you activate the switch. I learned of this by talking to the son of the guy that did the construction. So why is this pertinent to your story? Because he has a Batman cowl under glass in his Batcave. It’s cool to have the cowl.

But it’s cooler to have the belt, lol.

    Going to CGSSS?

  2. Sadly, no, the Super Show is not on the docket for me. Between San Diego and the upcoming wedding trip I have to make, I’m about tapped for time out/traveling funds until after the new year.

    Oh, and Peter David RULES!!!
