Woo hoo! We’ve reached double digits, baby! Happily, it is my three-week-iversary, too! And, I didn’t have to draw any baseball themed characters for today’s strip! Ah, we have to celebrate the little things, right?
I’m very glad it is the weekend. I recieved my shipment of comics yesterday, and I’m looking forward to reading through them. And, since I’ve already talked about Batman this week, I figure I can talk about my newest addition to my Batman: Black and White Statue set, based on the art of George Perez, which also came in the shipment. Really, I love all of these statues, but the Perez design ranks high. It is a beautiful thing to behold. I am irritated that the next statue in the series is of the Joker, though. All the previous statues have been different artist interpretations of Batman, which I liked. So, despite my completist ways, I’m skipping the non-Batman characters in the series. It’ll save me some dough, anyway.
Alright, that’s enough rambling for today! I’ll see you all on Monday… when I’ll either have a completed strip or something different for Labor Day. I’m leaning toward the strip, but we’ll see!

I’ve been enjoying reading through what you’ve posted so far. It all looks fantastic, and I really admire your persistence! Keep up with it… I’m looking forward to making regular visits to read what you post.
I really like seeing the Scarab in color too, since A-O is usually in black and white. the gray/burgundy color scheme works really well! These colors work well with the solid blue background too.

Thanks for checking it out, Rob! Glad you like the color… even if it is purely utilitarian at this point. I just flat color it, because I know that most people would skip it if it was in black and white. If I ever go to press with it, and decide to go with color, I’ll actually look for someone who can color to re-do all of that.
An RSS feed… well, if I ever get a real website up instead of just the blog postings, it is a definite possibility. We’ll see if I ever get around to that!
